Community Service at Colleges

Community proceeds Day         University of Connecticut students and faculty offered their cartridge holder and push button on Nov. 20 for Community Service Day.         Organized by the Uconn nerve center for Community Outreach, the volunteers worked at one(a) of 15 antithetic work sites throughout the day. They included campus clean up of flock around the ponds, sorting donations at Windham Area interfaith Ministry, interlingual rendition stories to children at the Lutz Childrens Museum in Manchester and making tree ornaments with the residents of the Mansfield Center for nursing and Rehabilitation.         We had a wonderful turnout this time, verbalise Ryan Griswold, course Assistant. everyplace 165 students volunteered, including mevery fraternities and sororities and FYE (First Year Experience) students.
